about
Presence Church

Who We Are
Since our beginning, we've been guided by a simple truth: when people encounter Jesus together, lives change — Not through religious obligation, but through relationship. Not through perfection, but through presence—both God's and each other's.
In a world of hurry and disconnect, we've carved out a different kind of space. One where worship breathes with expectation rather than performance. Scripture forms our foundation, while the Spirit brings it to life.
Here, you don't have to pretend. You don't have to perform. You simply get to be - yourself, with others, before God. And in that honest space, something beautiful happens. Community deepens. Faith awakens. Purpose emerges.
Whether you're spiritually curious or deeply committed, carrying questions or convictions, we've saved you a place at the table. Because that's what family does.
His Presence Among Us
"You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy..."
- Psalm 16:11
"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." - James 4:8
At Presence Church, our name reflects our deepest conviction: Encountering God changes everything. Throughout Scripture, we see how God's tangible presence transformed ordinary people and circumstances into extraordinary testimonies of His faithfulness.
His presence brings:
Healing — "I am the Lord who heals you." (Exodus 15:26)
Freedom — "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." (2 Corinthians 3:17)
Joy — "In Your presence is fullness of joy." (Psalm 16:11)
Restoration — "He restores my soul." (Psalm 23:3)
This isn't just a theological concept—it's the lived reality we experience in worship, in prayer, in community, and in service. When we create space for God to move, He faithfully meets us there, changing hearts and lives in ways only He can.

Our HISTORY
Our Beliefs
Triune God
We believe there is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator, and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving, and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent—one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matt. 28:19)
Jesus Christ
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only begotten Son of God who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is God’s Anointed One—empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God’s kingdom on earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected, and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today in the presence of God the Father and in His people. He is “true God” and “true man.” (John 3:16; Luke 1:34-38; Phil 2:6-11; 1 Pet. 3:18; Matt 18:20; Acts 2:22-36 & 10:38-44)
God’s Word
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. It is a written revelation from God to humanity and is the rule of faith and conduct. (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Pet. 1:23-25; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; Heb. 4:12; Isaiah 55:11)
Humanity
We believe that humankind was created in the image of God to know, love and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sin, sickness, and death entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin. (Gen. 1:26-31; Gen. 3:1-24; Rom. 5:12-21)
Saved by Grace
We believe that we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be completely forgiven and restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing, and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and adopts us as we enter the kingdom of God as His sons and daughters. (Mark 1:14-15; Acts 2:38; Titus 2:11, 3:4-7; Rom. 10:9-13; John 1:12; 1 John 3:1)
Empowered by the Holy Spirit
We believe in the ongoing, sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who dwells within us when we put our faith in Jesus Christ. Because of Christ’s work on the cross, we have victory over the enemy, freedom from sin, sickness, torment and lies, and are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live a holy life and minister supernaturally. According to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4, the baptism of the Holy Spirit is poured out on believers that they might have God’s power to be His witnesses.
(Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-4, & 10:44-56; 1 Cor 12:1-31; Isaiah 53:4-6; Matt 6:13; John 8:32-36 & 14:12; Luke 9:1-6, 10:1-19 & 24:49; Romans 8:31-39; Gal 5:16-24; 1 John 3:4-9)
The Church
We believe the Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. He gave His Church the ordinances of baptism and communion. The Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by building up His Body, undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God’s love, and discipling the nations—baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God. (Mark 16:15-20; Matt. 16:18, 28:18-20; Heb 10:24-25; Acts 2:41-47; 1 Cor. 11:23-26; Eph. 4:11-12)
Male and Female
We believe that God created humans as distinctly male and female. We affirm that gender is determined by biological sex, as established by chromosomes: males are identified by XY chromosomes, and females by XX chromosomes. This belief is rooted in our understanding of Scripture and the natural order established by God. (Genesis 1:27 & 5:2; Matt. 19:4)
Marriage and Sexuality
We believe God created marriage and has clearly defined it as a covenant between a biological man and a biological woman which makes them one. We believe that human sexuality is a gift from God and is to be enjoyed exclusively within heterosexual marriage. All other sexual activity the Bible defines as sin and instructs us to forsake. (Genesis 2:21-24; Matt 19:4-6; 1 Corinthians 5:1-13 and 6:1-20)
Life at Conception
We believe that human life begins at conception and that the Right to Life is an inalienable right given to us by our Creator. The role of civil government is to protect and safeguard the rights of all humanity, especially the rights of the most vulnerable, defenseless and voiceless members of society—the unborn. This Church will peacefully advocate for change in civil government to recognize the rights of the unborn and non-violently resist all laws or actions which violate the
same. (Genesis 1:27 & 2:7; Psalm 127:3; Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:4-5)
Christ’s Return
We believe in the ever-increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, which is the glorious, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to rule and reign with His overcoming bride—the Church. (Isaiah 9:6-7; Matt 25:31-42; Acts 1:10-11; 1 Thess 4:16-17; 1 Cor 15:51-52; Titus 2:13; Rev 19:7:16, & 20:4-6)
The Resurrection
We believe that heaven and hell are real places. There will be a resurrection of the lost and the saved—the one to everlasting death and the other to everlasting life. (Matt 10:27-31; John 5:28-29 & 11:25; 1 Cor 15:20-53; Rev 4:1, 7:9 & 20:4-15)
Apostles’ Creed
We endorse the historic orthodox creeds of the Church and believe in the ‘Apostles’ Creed’ as a unifying statement of the Christian faith.
We believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ,
His only begotten Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
He descended into hell;
on the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen!
